Josh Thrower is a licensed NC Broker / REALTOR® with REAL Brokerage, serving Asheville and Western North Carolina. He works with all types of buyers and sellers, with a particular passion for helping first-time homebuyers, relocating families, remote workers, and clients looking to put down roots in WNC. After relocating to Asheville from Los Angeles in 2020, Josh saw firsthand how valuable a knowledgeable local agent can be during a major move. His approach to real estate is straightforward, communicative, and low-pressure, with a focus on helping clients make confident, informed decisions that make sense for their lifestyle and long-term goals.

Having spent nearly two decades working behind the scenes on major television productions including Love Island USA, Hell’s Kitchen, and Next Level Chef, as well as appearing on shows like The Young & The Restless, Josh traded LA studio lots and nonstop city "hustle and bustle" for mountain views, a slower pace, and a stronger sense of community. These days, he spends his time exploring Western North Carolina with his wife and son, embracing life as a husband and dad while creating content centered around Asheville history, culture, and real estate. When he’s not helping clients or chasing after a toddler who truly runs the household, you’ll usually find him running, hiking, discovering good music, visiting breweries, or tracking down hidden local spots around WNC.
